UNBEATEN TO START THE SEASON
With its 1-0 win over UMary on Sept. 21, SCSU pushed its unbeaten streak to a program-high five games to start the season, surpassing its previous best start of 3-0-1 in 2002. SCSU has extended that unbeaten streak to seven games, far surpassing its previous best record of staying undefeated to start a season.
A balanced attack offensively and defensively has helped SCSU jump out to the fast start, with the Huskies ranking in the top five of the NSIC in most statistical categories as a team, including second in assists (14), third in points (40), third in save percentage (.897), third in goals (13) and third in goals against average (0.43). Among individual leaders, senior midfielder Brooke Quam (Lakeville, Minn.) leads the NSIC in assist with four while junior midfielder Grace Olson (West Des Moines, Iowa) ranks third with three. Senior forward Ellie Primerano (Saint Joseph, Mich.) and junior forward Linsey Trapino (Verona, Wis.) both rank fifth in the NSIC in goals with three.
THREE-HEADED THREAT
The race for point-lead this season is a tight race, with senior forward Ellie Primerano (Saint Joseph, Mich.), junior midfielder Grace Olson (West Des Moines, Iowa) and junior forward Linsey Trapino (Verona, Wis.) in a three-way tie for first place with seven points. Primerano and Trapino each have three goals and one assist, while Olson has netted two goals with three assists. They all rank eighth in the NSIC in scoring, with Primerano and Trapino ranking fifth in goals.
25-POINT CLUB ADDITIONS

With an assist in SCSU's 1-0 win over Michigan Tech on Sept. 7, senior midfielder Brooke Quam (Lakeville, Minn.) recorded her 25th career point to become the 24th Husky in program history to join the 25-point club. Quam then recorded three assists in a 5-0 win over UW-Parkside on Sept. 12 to match a career-high from her three assists against Minnesota Crookston on Nov. 2, 2023. She is just the second Husky in program history to have multiple games with three or more assists, joining Kim Corbin who did it four times. Quam leads the NSIC in assists with four. Her 18 career assists rank third all-time in program history while her 28 career points rank 21st all-time.
Quam joins current teammates senior Ellie Primerano (Saint Joseph, Mich.) and junior forward Linsey Trapino (Verona, Wis.) in the 25-point club. Primerano currently ranks ninth with 43 points (14g/15a) while Trapino ranks 12th with 37 points (15g/7a).
Soon to join the trio is junior midfielder Grace Olson (West Des Moines, Iowa), who currently has 24 points with eight goals and eight assists. When Olson reaches 25 points, it will be the first time in program history that four current Huskies will play at the same time with 25+ career points.
