Huskies record fourth consecutive shutout, extend unbeaten streak to eight to open season
SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – St. Cloud State Women's Soccer (5-0-3, 3-0-2 NSIC) recorded its fourth consecutive shutout in a 0-0 tie against Sioux Falls (4-3-1, 2-2-1 NSIC) on Friday afternoon at Bob Young Field in Sioux Falls, S.D. Redshirt sophomore Jaylee Strickland (Columbus, Ohio) made three saves in the tie as the Huskies extended their unbeaten streak to eight to open the season.
TURNING POINT
SCSU pushed the pace offensively, especially in the first half with the Huskies recording two of its three corner kicks and four shots on goal in the first 45 minutes, but the USF goalkeeper made three saves with one team save.
In the second half, Strickland was able to turn away all three shots on goal from the Cougars to preserve the tie.

SCSU will finish its two-game road trip with a Sunday contest against Southwest Minnesota State at 1:00 p.m. CT.
