Huskies will play at Wayne State and Augustana in St. Joseph
ST. CLOUD, Minn. – St. Cloud State Women's Soccer (10-1-4, 8-1-3 NSIC) is set to host Wayne State (6-5-4, 5-5-2 NSIC) and Augustana (10-2-3, 8-2-2 NSIC) for its final two regular season home games this weekend. The Huskies will first face the Wildcats at 1:00 p.m. CT on Friday, Oct. 31 followed by a 1:00 p.m. CT contest on Sunday, Nov. 2 against the Vikings.
With ongoing construction of a new dome at Husky Stadium, the games will be held at CSB Outdoor Athletic Complex in St. Joseph, Minn.

SERIES HISTORY
SCSU heads into the weekend with a 15-2-1 all-time mark against Wayne State and an 11-12-6 mark against Augustana.
The Huskies have won four consecutive matches and are 6-0-1 in the last seven matches against Wayne State. Last season, the Huskies earned a 2-0 win over the Wildcats on Sept. 29 behind a pair of goals from junior midfielder Grace Olson (West Des Moines, Iowa) in the first 15 minutes of the contest.
SCSU will be looking to even up the all-time series and change its luck against Augustana after going 1-9-2 in its last 12 games against the Vikings. Last season, SCSU fell, 1-0, to Augustana on Sept. 27, 2024 in Sioux Falls. SCSU's last win against Augustana came on Sept. 24, 2023, a 2-1 win at Husky Stadium where Olson netted the game-winning goal.

Head coach Gretta Macdonald is nearing a career milestone, sitting one win away from her 100th career victory. In her 12th season as head coach, Macdonald is already the program's longest tenured and winningest coach at 99-80-35 (.571). She helped the Huskies capture its first-ever conference championship in 2023 when the team won the NSIC Regular Season championship, and she has led the program to its first two NCAA Tournament appearances in 2023 and 2024. Her teams have 10 program records, including ,most victories (14, 2023), best winning percentage (.714, 2023), most conference wins (10, 2023) most shutouts (nine, 2025), and fewest goals allowed (15, 2024).
PLAYOFF RACE HEATING UP
With two weeks of regular season action remaining, the race for positioning in the NSIC standings is heating up. St. Cloud State is currently in a tie for second place with Bemidji State (8-1-3 in NSIC) at 27 points. Minnesota State is in first place with 34 points (11-0-1 NSIC) while Augustana is in fourth place with 26 points (8-2-2 NSIC).
In the eight-team NSIC Tournament, the top four seeds will host the quarterfinal round matchups, with the winners advancing to the semifinal and championship rounds. 25-POINT CLUB ADDITIONS
For the first time in program history, St. Cloud State Women's Soccer has four current student athletes with 25 career points. Two Huskies, senior midfielder Brooke Quam (Lakeville, Minn.) and junior midfielder Grace Olson (West Des Moines, Iowa), reached the 25-point club this season, joining senior Ellie Primerano (Saint Joseph, Mich.) and junior forward Linsey Trapino (Verona, Wis.) who reached the milestone last season.
Quam reached 25 points in SCSU's 1-0 win over Michigan Tech on Sept. 7 and then recorded three assists in a 5-0 win over UW-Parkside on Sept. 12 to match a career-high for assists in a game. She is just the second Husky in program history to have multiple games with three or more assists, joining Kim Corbin who did it four times. Quam currently leads the NSIC in assists with five. Her 19 career assists rank third all-time while her 31 career points rank 18th.
Olson is the latest to join the 25-point club with an assist in a 2-1 win over Minnesota Duluth on Oct. 12, becoming the 25th Husky in program history to reach the mark. Olson has scored 2+ goals and 2+ assists in each of her three seasons as a Husky, including an 12-point (4g/4a) performance so far this season.
Primerano and Trapino continue to work their way up the all-time scoring list for the Huskies. Primerano currently ranks eighth with 47 points (15g/76a) while Trapino ranks 10th with 44 points (17g/10a).
STRICKLAND STRICT IN NET
Redshirt sophomore Jaylee Strickland (Columbus, Ohio) has been elite in net for the Huskies this season as she continues to build on an impressive campaign that will be remembered in the record book. The 2023 All-NSIC second team selection has produced an 10-1-4 mark in net with a 0.54 GAA, .849 S% and eight shutouts while earning her first career NSIC Goalkeeper of the Week honor on Oct. 6.
Among NSIC leaders this season, Strickland ranks second in GAA (0.54) and shutouts (eight) while ranking third in S% (.849). Among program records for a single season, Stickland's marks currently rank first in GAA, third in S% and third in shutouts. Among career records, she already ranks third in wins (23) and second in shutouts (16).
BALANCED ATTACK
The race for team point-lead this season is a tight race, with junior forward Linsey Trapino (Verona, Wis.) taking a slight lead at 14 points while junior midfielder Grace Olson (West Des Moines, Iowa) and senior forward Ellie Primerano (Saint Joseph, Mich.) are close behind at 12 and 11 points, respectively. Trapino, Olson and Primerano rank in the NSIC's top-20 in scoring, with Trapino's five goals ranking 10th in the NSIC. Additionally, senior midfielder Brooke Quam (Lakeville, Minn.) leads the NSIC in assists with five while Olson and Trapino rank fifth with four.
As a team the Huskies ranking in the top five of the NSIC in most statistical categories as a team, including second in goals against average (0.53), second in save percentage (.852), third in assists (25), fifth in points (75) and seventh in goals (25).
