Huskies Earn School Record and All-American Honorable Mentions on Day Two of NCAA Championships

Mason Beck finishes 9th in the 50-yard Freestyle and the 200 Medley Relay team finishes 10th and sets a new school record
Indianapolis, Ind. – The St. Cloud State Huskies had two All-American Honorable Mention performances and set a new school record on the first full day of coemption at the 2025 NCAA Championships on Wednesday, March 12 in Indianapolis, Ind. Junior Mason Beck finished 9th overall, earning All-American Honorable Mention honors with a time of 19.49. The 200-yard medley relay team of Fifth-Year Raf Hendriks, Sophomore Marcus Walker, Junior Lance Godard, and Beck finished 10th for the Huskies earning All-American Honorable Mention honors and setting a new school record time of 1:26.33.

After the first day of competition, the Husky men sit in 16th place with 23 points. The Husky women are still looking to pick up their first points of the meet.
TOP HUSKIES
- Junior Mason Beck finished ninth in the 50-yard freestyle with a time of 19.49, earning All-American Honorable Mention honors.
- The Huskies relay squad of Hendriks, Walker, Godard, and Beck, clocked a time of 1:26.33 to finish 10th, capturing the school record and All-American Honorable Mention honors.
- Freshman Abriella Werner finished 21st in Women's 1-meter diving with a score of 331.75

NCAA Championships continues tomorrow for day three of the meet. The preliminary session is scheduled to begin at 9:00 a.m. CT and the finals session at 4:30 p.m. CT.
