Eight from SCSU Swim & Dive Earn CSC Academic All-District

Huskies honored for their work in the pool and the classroom
ST. CLOUD, Minn. – St. Cloud State Swim & Dive had eight student-athletes named to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Team, as announced by the organization on Tuesday. For the men, sophomore Lance Godard (Lee's Summitt, Mo.), fifth-year senior Raf Hendriks (Berg en Terblijt, Netherlands), senior Max Matthaei (Walddorhaeslach, Germany) and junior Avery Morton (Pinckney, Mich.) earned the honor for their academic achievements, while senior Kailey Fossell (Hoyt Lakes, Minn.), junior Natalie Gneiser (Baraboo, Wis.), junior Izzy Koebele (Bismarck, N.D.) and senior Anna Reschko (Frankfurt, Germany) earned the honor for the women.
To be eligible for the CSC Academic All-District Team, a student-athlete must be a starter or key contributor with a 3.5 cumulative GPA at his or her institution and must participate in at least 50 percent of their team's meets at the position listed. A qualifying student-athlete must be at least a sophomore academically and athletically.
Godard and Hendriks each earned All-America honors and helped the Huskies men's team finish with a program-record eighth-place finish at the 2025 NCAA Championships. All eight student-athletes helped the Huskies finish fourth at the GLIAC Championships (men) and third at the NSIC Championships (women).
