Godard and Hendriks Earn CSC Academic All-America Honors

Husky duo become sixth and seventh in program history to earn the distinction
AUSTIN, Texas – St. Cloud State Swim & Dive had two student-athletes named College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-Americans, as announced by the organization on Wednesday. Sophomore Lance Godard (Lee's Summit, Mo.) was named First Team All-America while graduate Raf Hendriks (Berg en Terblijt, Netherlands) was named Third Team All-America.
The pair of Huskies are the sixth and seventh in program history to earn the Academic All-America honor and the first pair to earn the honor in the same season.
Godard, who maintains a 3.93 GPA as a Finance major, earned six All-America honors at the 2025 NCAA Championships. He earned first team status in the 200-yard freestyle relay and 100-yard butterfly, finishing fourth and seventh in the events, respectively, while earning second team honors in the 200-yard butterfly (ninth), 400-yard freestyle relay (ninth), 400-yard medley relay (ninth) and 200-yard medley relay (10th).
Hendriks, a 4.00 GPA in graduate school pursuing his Master's in Business Administration, capped his highly impressive career with six All-America honors and a runner-up finish in the 200-yard backstroke. In addition to his second-place finish in the 200-yard backstroke, Hendriks earned first team honors in the 200-yard freestyle relay (fourth) and 100-yard backstroke (seventh), as well as second team honors in the 400-yard freestyle relay (ninth), 400-yard medley relay (ninth) and 200-yard medley relay (10th).
