
Twelve Huskies Earn CSC Academic All-District® At-Large Honors

Six from women’s hockey, three apiece from men’s hockey and wrestling cited by CSC in at-large program for academic and athletics performance
GREENWOOD, Ind. – Twelve St. Cloud State student-athletes have been named to the 2025 College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District® At-Large teams, as announced by the organization on Tuesday. The recipients include six from women's hockey, three from men's hockey and three from wrestling.
The 2025 Academic All-District® At-Large teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances in competition and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
To be eligible for the CSC Academic All-District® At-Large teams, a student-athlete must have a 3.50 cumulative GPA or higher in both undergraduate and graduate studies (if applicable), be in at least their second year of competition at the collegiate level and meet athletic participation criteria that is unique to their sport. For men's and women's hockey, eligible nominees must have competed in 90% of the institution's games played or must have started at least 66% of the institution's games. For goalies, a student-athlete must have started at least 50% of the team's games. For wrestling, eligible nominees must have been in the lineup for at least 70% of team scoring events (open tournaments, duals) or compete in their weight class at a conference championship meet.
Academic All-District® honorees were considered for advancement to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot. Student-athletes selected as CSC Academic All-America® finalists are denoted with an asterisk (*) and will advance to the national ballot to be voted on by CSC members. First-, second- and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced on Tuesday, July 8 (women) and Wednesday, July 9 (men).
