Two freshmen Huskies make 6k debut

MINNEAPOLIS – St. Cloud State Cross Country competed in its first 6k of the 2025 season on Friday afternoon at the 39^th annual Roy Griak Invitational at Les Bolstad Golf Course in Minneapolis. The Huskies competed in the Suzy Wilson Women's Maroon Race which featured runners from DII and DIII schools.

Senior Hannah Little (Grimes, Iowa) led the SCSU pack, running 27:18.5 to finish 169^th. Behind Little were two freshmen who made their collegiate 6k debut - Campbell Slattery (Big Lake, Minn) was second on the Huskies after running 27:27.4 (176^th) and Jocie Wheeler (Annandale, Minn.) was third on the team, crossing the line in 27:41.3 (190^th). Sophomore Abbygail Nunez (South St. Paul, Minn.) made her season debut and was fourth on the team in 27:51.3 (198^th).
