Husky Hockey home games enters second season on The CW, radio coverage for all contests remains on KNSI
ST. CLOUD, Minn. – St. Cloud State Athletics, St. Cloud State Sports Properties and Husky Productions announced television and radio broadcast plans for the 2026-27 St. Cloud State Men's Hockey season.
The CW returns as the television home for all home St. Cloud State Men's Hockey contests for its second season. The voice of the Huskies Jim Erickson enters his third season as the TV play-by-play commentator with former Husky captain Geno Parrish on color commentary for his fifth season. In addition to home coverage on the CW, all National Collegiate Hockey Conference games, home and away, will be streamed live online at NCHC.tv (subscription required).
For the 34th season, St. Cloud State's student-led Husky Productions will provide all the production and television elements for the home game broadcasts. Affectionally known as "HP", the award-winning and student-run sports production organization routinely contributes to St. Cloud State University's top-20 ranking nationally in sports broadcasting schools by the STAA. Joining Erickson and Parrish on the broadcast team will be ice side reporter Zach Rudeen, intermission hosts Logan Haglund and Rachel Roberts and student producer Joey Guzek.
All SCSU men's hockey games, home and away, will be heard on KNSI as well as the Varsity Network app. SCSU and Husky Productions alum Nick Maxson will once again provide play-by-play commentary for men's hockey home games while Jim Erickson will return to the airwaves for road games. They will be joined by former Husky captain and All-American Dave Reichel, who has called games for his alma mater since 1990.
All regular season Friday home games will start at 7:00 p.m. CT, while Saturday contests will begin at 6:00 p.m. CT (puck drop at 7:07 and 6:07, respectively). SCSU's matchup with Bemidji State on Wednesday, Dec. 16 will start at 7:00 p.m. CT.
