Ingram scores in regular season home finale
ST. CLOUD, Minn. – St. Cloud State Men's Hockey (16-16-0, 9-13-0 NCHC) dropped its regular season home finale to Colorado College (12-14-4, 6-10-4 NCHC), 4-1, on Saturday night at the Herb Brooks National Hockey Center in St. Cloud, Minn. Senior forward Adam Ingram (West St. Paul, Manitoba) scored the lone goal for the Huskies in the first period.
Colorado College scored first for the second straight night with Drew Montgomery scoring at the 9:47 mark of the period. SCSU didn't wait long to respond, with Ingram finishing a rush play with a wrist shot from the slot to tie the game at 1-1 at the 12:07 mark of the period. Sophomore defenseman Finn Loftus (Blaine, Minn.) and junior forward Verner Miettinen (Espoo, Finland) recorded assists on the score.
SCSU outshot CC 30-16 over the final two periods, but couldn't find the back of the net, as CC retook and extended its lead in the second with two goals before adding an empty net goal in the third.

- SCSU killed off the only penalty it took in the game to improve to 76.1 percent (67-of-88) on the season.
- Ingram scored his first goal of the season and 21st of his career in the first period.
- Loftus recorded his 12th assist of the season while Miettinen recorded his seventh.
- Junior forward Tyson Gross (Calgary, Alberta) went 11-11 in the faceoff dot, marking the 28th time in 32 games he's won 10 or more faceoffs.
- Roed went 11-3 in the faceoff dot, marking the eight time this season he's won 10 or more faceoffs.
