St. Cloud State Wrestling Ranked 9th Ahead of Super Region V

Huskies tally six ranked wrestlers
Manheim, PA. – St. Cloud State Wrestling jumped inside the top 10 of the National Wrestling Coaches Association (NWCA) poll for the first time since December as announced Thursday afternoon. The Huskies are ranked ninth and hold six ranked wrestlers, the most they have held all season.
St. Cloud State accumulated 49.5 points in the rankings to come in at number nine. Nebraska-Kearney took the top spot with 90.0 points and were followed by Central Oklahoma (77.0), Grand Valley State (69.0), Pitt-Johnstown (67.5), and Gannon (65.0)
For the first time this season, Dominic Ducato comes in holding a ranking at 133. Ducato is ranked 13th and holds an 11-1 record with seven bonus point wins.
Joel Jesuroga maintained his No. 2 ranking at 157 from the previous poll. Jesuroga holds an undefeated record of 17-0 with nine bonus point victories.
Bryce Dagel held his No. 11 ranking at 174 from the last poll. Dagel is 10-4 with seven bonus point wins.
Cole Glazier also had no change as he remains ranked No. 2 at 184. Glazier is undefeated at 16-0 and has 10 bonus point wins.
Tyson Meyer jumped into the rankings for the first time this season. He is ranked No. 15 at 197 and holds a 13-4 record with nine bonus point wins.
The final Husky to be ranked is Zach Glazier who comes in at No. 3 at 285. This is the first time Glazier is ranked this season. He is undefeated with a 4-0 record and has three bonus point wins.
St. Cloud State will be back in action next Saturday as they compete in the Super Region V Championships on February 28 in Marshall, MN.
