ST. CLOUD, Minn. – St. Cloud State Athletics recognized three student-athletes as the Wolters Kluwer Athletes of the Month for February. Men's hockey junior forward Tyson Gross (Calgary, Alberta) was named the Male Athlete of the Month while women's swim & dive sophomore Hallie Drossel (Melrose, Minn.) and graduate Elena Martinez-Rodriguez (Madrid, Spain) were named Female Co-Athletes of the Month.

- Led the NCHC in goals (4) and points (6) for the month of February
- Scored a point in four of six games in the month, with 2+ points in all four games.
- Named NCHC Forward of the Week after 4-goal, 5-point performance in sweep over Arizona State, scoring both game-winning goals and a shorthanded goal in each game
- Scored 2+ goals in back-to-back games for the second time in his career, becoming just the second Husky since 2002-03 to have two instances of 2+ goals in back-to-back games.

- Won Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC) championships in the 100-yard breaststroke (1:03.06) and the 200-yard medley relay (1:42.80)
- Place second in the 400-yard medley relay (3:47.53) and eighth in the 200-yard IM (2:11.02)
- Earned all-conference honors for her finishes in the 100 breast, 200 medley relay and 400 medley relay
- Posted an NCAA B-cut time in 100 breast (1:03.06)
- Helped lead SCSU to a second-place finish at the 2026 NSIC Championships, its best finish since 2022
- Won the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC) high jump after clearing 1.66m/5-5.25
- Became the first Husky to win an event at the indoor conference meet since Natalie Gottschalk (2015-19) won the pentathlon in 2018 and just the seventh indoor conference event winner in the history of the program,.
- Posted a new personal best in the triple jump (11.75m/38-6.75) to finish fifth at the NSIC meet.
- Scored 14 of the team's 18.5 points at the conference meet
- Won the high jump in all three meets during the month
