
Nineteen Huskies Earn AHCA/Krampade All-American Scholar Honors

Ten from women’s team, nine from men’s team recognized by AHCA for academic excellence
GLOUCESTER, Mass. – Nineteen St. Cloud State hockey student-athletes have been named 2025-26 American Hockey Coaches Association (AHCA)/Krampade All-American Scholars, as announced by the organization on Monday. The honorees include 10 players from the women's team and nine from the men's team (2025-26 season). In total, 725 Division I players were honored including 405 men and 320 women.

Additionally, incoming men's transfers Jake Southgate (Jr., Battleford, Saskatoon, Lindenwood) and Finn McLaughlin (Fr., Canmore, Alberta, Minnesota) earned the award while at their previous institutions.
To qualify for the award, a student-athlete must have attained a 3.75 GPA in each semester during the 2025-26 academic year while appearing in at least 40% of the team's games (note* - waivers were granted for injury/illness and to back-up goaltenders). Schools were also required to be members of the AHCA.
