ST. CLOUD, Minn. – St. Cloud State Volleyball head coach Chad Braegelmann announced the program will host its first-ever "Grow the Game" boys only camp July 20-21. See below for details about the camp.

GROW THE GAME CAMP
Camp Details
When: July 20-21
Time: 5-7:30 p.m.
Who: Boys
Grades: Entering 7th - 12th in 2026-27
Location: Halenbeck Hall Main Gym (check-in) and Halenbeck Hall Fieldhouse (camp)
What: This camp is for BOYS ONLY entering grades 7-12 and will focus on the development of position specific skills and training along with team play. The camp is designed for any boys interested in playing volleyball for the first time AND boys with previous volleyball experience! Sessions will have time for positional work, (setters, outside hitters, middle blockers, liberos/defensive specialists) while also working in a team setting and spending time on teamwork during 6-on-6 play. Campers will be separated by skill level and grade. All campers will receive an SCSU Volleyball T-shirt!
Cost: $80 (both nights) or $35 (one night)

When: July 19
Time: 10 a.m. – noon, 1 – 4 p.m. and 5:30 -7:30 p.m.
Who: Boys and Girls
Grades: Entering 8th - 12th in 2026-27
Location: Halenbeck Hall Main Gym
What: This camp is for grades 8-12 and will focus on the development of position specific skills and training along with team play. Camp is designed for players with varsity and/or club volleyball experience and plans to play in college. Sessions will have time for positional work, (setters, outside hitters, middle blockers, liberos/defensive specialists) while also working in a team setting and spending time on teamwork during 6on6 play. Campers will be separated by skill level and grade. All campers will receive an SCSU Volleyball T-shirt!
Cost: $185 (pizza supper is included)

SKILLS CAMP
Camp Details
When: July 20-22
Time: 9:30 a.m. – 3 p.m. daily (Open gym and early drop off begins at 8:30 a.m. daily)
Who: Boys and Girls
Grades: Entering 4th - 9th in 2026-27
Location: Halenbeck Hall Main Gym and Halenbeck Hall Fieldhouse
What: This camp, open for both boys and girls entering grades 4-9, will focus on the development of the six basic volleyball skills (serving, passing, setting, attacking, digging and blocking). Campers will have the opportunity to apply the skills learned through instruction during camp with various games, competitions and 6-on-6 play. Campers will be separated by grade/skill level. All campers will receive an SCSU volleyball!
Cost: $225 (includes SCSU volleyball)

Times: 4:30 – 6 p.m.
Who: Boys and Girls
Grades: Entering K – 3rd in 2026-27
Location: Halenbeck Hall Main Gym
What: This camp is for young huskies learning the basics of volleyball. Each camper will be given basic instruction on all the fundamentals and an opportunity to learn all skills through drills and games. Each pup will also receive a camp ball. Come join in on the fun!

- Two All- Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC) First Team selections
- Two NSIC All-Tournament Team picks
The Huskies are coming off another historic season in which they:
- Advanced to their sixth straight NCAA Tournament/11th in program history
- Advanced to their second consecutive/fourth overall NCAA region championship in program history (also third in last four seasons).
- En route to the region championship, the Huskies beat the No. 17 team in the nation before taking down the No. 2 team and tournament host, Nebraska Kearney, on their home court.
- Tied the program record for NCAA Tournament wins in a season (two – 4x; 1995, 2022, 2024, 2025)
- Won their second consecutive/fourth overall NSIC Tournament championship (all in last five years) after taking down the No. 13, No. 2 and No. 5 teams in the country
- Were ranked inside the top 16 of the AVCA Poll every week and finished the season ranked No. 5 for the second straight season (third time ever)
- Earned wins over 13 ranked opponents including four against top five teams
- Had three AVCA Second Team All-Americans
- Had three All-Central Region performers (AVCA – 3x first team; D2CCA – 1x first team, 2x second team)
- Earned one AVCA DII National weekly honor
- Had four NCAA Central Regional All-Tournament Team selections
- Had four NSIC All-Tournament Team selections
- Had a player earn the NSIC Elite 18 Award for the first time in program history (10th Husky overall)
- Had four All-NSIC performers (3x first team, 1x second team)
- Earned two NSIC weekly awards
- Had one College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-America® selection (fourth in program history)
- Had four CSC Academic All-District® selections
- Had 10 NSIC All-Academic Team selections (nine also named to All-Academic Team of Excellence)
