Steve Costanzo Inducted into NAIA Men's Wrestling 2026 Hall of Fame Class

Costanzo is one of five people inducted into this year’s class of 2026
Manheim, PA – St. Cloud State legendary wrestling coach Steve Costanzo was honored by the National Wrestling Coaches Association (NWCA), as they announced him into their hall of fame class of 2026. Costanzo was given the honor for his remarkable seven years (1999-2006) spent with Dana College (NE).
Costanzo's time with Dana included some incredible accomplishments including the 2006 NAIA National Championship, setting a tournament record with 193.0 team points, the 2006 NWCA National Duals Championship, 4 Great Plains Athletic Conference Championships (2003, 2004, 2005, 2006), 4 Regional Championships (2001, 2002, 2005, 2006), Three consecutive top-10 finishes at NAIA Nationals (6th in 2004, 5th in 2005, 1st in 2006), the 2003 NAIA Robert Bubb Coaching Excellence Award, recognizing role models and mentors of student-athletes, the 2006 NWCA and NAIA Coach of the Year, and 2x NAIA Regional Coach of the Year (2005, 2006).
Costanzo coached 31 NAIA All-Americans, with two Individual National Champions.
The NWCA honored these NAIA Wrestling legends last Saturday, August 1st at the Renaissance Baltimore Inner Harbor Hotel during the NWCA Convention.
