2022-23: Made 22 starts and appeared in 23 games in his final season with the Huskies, recording a 14-8-1 mark between the pipes with a 2.02 goals-against-average and .924 save percentage … Among single season program records, his 2.02 GAA ranks second, while his four shutouts rank third and his .924 S% ranks fifth … Among program career records, his 2.38 GAA ranks fourth, while his .910 S% ranks ninth, his four shutouts rank 10th and his 20 wins rank 14th … Became the full-time starter during the postseason, leading the Huskies to an NCHC Frozen Faceoff championship and an NCAA Regional Championship game appearance … Named to the NCHC Frozen Faceoff All-Tournament Team after recording a 3-0 mark with a 0.97 GAA and .957 save percentage across three starts in the NCHC Tournament … Opened the 2022-23 season with a 10-save victory against St. Thomas (Oct. 1) … Led the Huskies to a 3-2 win over No. 2 Minnesota State (Oct. 21) with 30 saves … Was stellar in net in 4-3 overtime road victory over No. 2 Denver (Nov. 4), recording 24 saves … Earned NCHC Goaltender of the Week honors after recording a 23-save shutout against No. 3/1 Minnesota (Jan. 7) and making 28 saves in an overtime loss at No. 3/1 Minnesota (Jan. 8) … Recorded second shutout of the season against No. 2 Denver (Jan. 21), recording 19 saves … Became just the second goaltender to record a shutout in the NCHC Championship game following a 17-save performance against Colorado College (March 18) … Became the first Husky to record a shutout in an NCAA Tournament game against No. 10/9 Minnesota State (March 23), stopping all 34 shots in a 4-0 victory.
2021-22: Appeared in nine games and made six starts in goal for the Huskies, recording a 2-4-0 record with a .890 save percentage and a 3.21 goals allowed average … Made 195 saves in 449 minutes between the pipes … Made first start of the season against Wisconsin (Oct. 23), picking up the victory with 31 saves .. Picked up the victory at home against Bemidji State (Jan. 1), making 23 saves in net … Got the start in net for St. Cloud State’s NCHC quarterfinals matchup against Minnesota Duluth (March 11-12), recording 33 saves in game one and a career-best 37 saves in game two … Made the start against Quinnipiac in the NCAA Tournament (March 25), making 11 saves.
2020-21: In his second season with St. Cloud State, Castor appeared in six games with two starts in net for the Huskies. He clocked 205:31 minutes of play and a 1.75 goals against average (GAA) during his sophomore campaign with 64 saves on 70 shots faced. Castor charted three wins during the season, including wins over Omaha and Colorado College in the NCHC Pod during the month of December.

Before SCSU: A 2015 graduate of Desert Vista H.S...played junior hockey in the USHL with the Dubuque Fighting Saints from 2015 to 2017...won 44 games in the nets for Dubuque during his USHL career...completed junior hockey career with a half season of play for the Shreveport Mudbugs of the NAHL in 2017-18...helped Shreveport win NAHL Robertson Cup and was named playoff MVP.
