2019-20: Mussman put together a career season in his fourth and final year with the Huskies, appearing in 27 games with six starts as a forward. He scored 93 total points to go along with 51 rebounds, 18 assists, three blocks and 14 steals. Mussman scored in double digits twice in his final year at St. Cloud State and additionally earned multiple academic honors at the conclussion of the season.
2018-19: In his third season with the Huskies, Mussman appeared in 19 games and played 111 total minutes for St. Cloud State. He scored 25 total points with 13 rebounds, four assists, one steal and one block during the year. Mussman earned Academic All-Conference honors at the conclusion of the 2018-19 basketball season.
2017-18: Academic All-NSIC award winner...played in 19 games in 2017-18...scored 28 points and grabbed eight rebounds...10 field goals, seven three pointers and one free throw.
2016-17: Played in 16 games and scored seven points with seven rebounds...scored first basket of his career against Minnesota Crookston (12/2/16)...knocked down a three against Minnesota State (2/4/17).
2015-16: Redshirted the 2015-16 season.
Prior to SCSU: A 2015 graduate of St. Cloud Tech, where he played under head coach Mike Trewick...averaged 18 points, seven rebounds, three assists and a block a game as a senior at Tech...played the first three years of his high school career at Grand Forks Central, where he played under Dan Carlson...a three-time letterwinner and two-time all-conference selection in basketball...scored over 1,000 career points in high school career...also lettered for three years and was a three-time captain in the sport of football earning an honorable mention all-conference selection...competed in the sport of track & field where he was a two-time state qualifier and placed third in the triple jump in 2012 and fourth in the high jump in 2014...was a standout in the classroom that earned academic all-conference honors three times...played for the basketball club team ECI during the summers of 2013 and 2014
Personal: Son of Michelle and Chris Mussman...born in Mankato, Minn....his brother Jack plays football at St. Cloud State...lived in Mankato for three years, before moving to and living in Grand Forks, ND for the next 15 years...played his last year of high school basketball at St. Cloud Tech when his father, Chris, was hired as co-offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach with the football team at SCSU...his father, a former assistant and head coach at the University of North Dakota, was a four-year letterwinner and former starting offensive lineman for Iowa State University...names his youth basketball coach, Kevin Ohnstad, as the person outside his parents with the great influence on his career...Dwayne Wade is his favorite sports personality...lists ending Grand Forks Central's seven year losing streak in basketball to crosstown rival Red River his junior year as his greatest sports accomplishment to date.
