Bio
2021: In her second true season with the Huskies, Groeneweg appeared in 29 matches and 104 sets as the team's libero. She racked up 347 digs and led the team in both digs/set (3.34) and total aces (56) at the conclusion of the 2021 season. Additionally, Groeneweg ranked in the top-30 in the nation in aces/set entering the NCAA Regional and her five aces against Western Oregon just misses a top-10 performance in single match aces.
2020: The 2020 fall season was cancelled due to COVID-19.
2019: In her first season with the Huskies, Groeneweg appeared in 29 matches and 101 sets for St. Cloud State, primarily as a serving specialist. During the season, she tallied 13 aces and 45 digs, including a career-high four three times throughout 2019.
High School: Groeneweg had a stellar career with Forest Lake, leading the Rangers to back-to-back state tournament appearances in 2017 and 2018. A three-year letter winner, Groeneweg earned multiple honors during her volleyball career, including team MVP (3x), All-Conference (3x) and All-State Honorable Mention honors as a senior in 2018. Groeneweg additionally was extremely successful on the basketball court, as she was a two-time MVP and All-Conference honoree for Lake Forest. Off the court, she was an honor roll student.
Personal: Groeneweg enjoys hanging out with friends and going on adventures or road trips on her off days. Her major is currently undecided and she is the daughter of Karlo and Kristin Groeneweg.
