2017-18: Benson will serve as a team alternate captain in 2018-19...scored eight goals, nine assists and 17 points...added four power play goals and one game winner for the Huskies...three multi-point games in 2017-18...had two points each in games vs. UMD on Nov. 3-4, 2017 and CC on Nov. 17, 2017...posted the GWG vs. UMD on Nov. 4, 2017.
2016-17: Named to 2017 All-NCHC Academic team...played in 36 games with 11 goals, 10 assists and 21 points...five power play goals...three multi-point games as a sophomore...scored two power play goals at WMU on Dec. 3, 2016...had 1g/1a vs. Minnesota on Oct. 22, 2016 and also had 1g/1a vs. CC on March 3, 2017.
2015-16: Played in 33 games in his rookie season with the Huskies...named to 2016 All-NCHC Academic team... charted four goals and seven assists for a total of 11 points in 2015-16...scored game winning goal at Omaha on Feb. 19, 2016...scored first goal as a Husky on Nov. 21 at home against North Dakota...posted collegiate point on Oct. 9, 2015 in Anchorage, Alaska against Alaska-Fairbanks... charted two assists in win at Omaha on Feb. 20, 2016.
