2011-12: Played in 25 games...182 total minutes played...69 total points scored...finished the season shooting .500 from the field and .448 from beyond the arc...was a perfect 8-for-8 from the free throw line...27 rebounds recorded...four steals posted...five assists...scored one point and recorded a steal in season debut against USF (11/13/11)...scored a season-high 8 points vs. JC (11/19/11)...grabbed a season-high five rebounds vs. Wayne State (01/03/12).
2010-11: Played in 21 games...averaged 3.2 points and 1.9 rebounds...scored 11 points and had five rebounds against Winona State...followed it with a career-high 17 points and seven rebounds versus Upper Iowa on 2/5/11...made first three-point basket of his collegiate career on 11/19/10 against Cal. State-Dominguez Hills.
2009-10: Played in eight games for the Huskies off the bench…scored eight points and grabbed 10 rebounds in 33 minutes of playing time…recorded three assists and one block…had a career-high five points and two rebounds vs. Judson University, Dec. 16...tied career high with a pair of rebounds vs. Minnesota, Crookston, Feb. 20...recorded first career block vs. the University of Sioux Falls, Dec. 29.
2008-09: Redshirt season.
High School: 2008 graduate of New Ulm Public High School…coached by Lyle Ericson…two-time basketball letter winner…named All-State Honorable Mention…averaged 22.1 ppg, seven rpg, and once drained 40 points in a single game…also letter twice in football.
Personal: Son of Steve and Gayle Hawkins of New Ulm…lists his father as the person with the greatest influence on his career…favorite athletic quality is determination…biomedical science major.
