2022-23: Played in all 41 games in his final season as a Husky, registering three goals and eight assists for 11 points with a +16 mark on the ice, 2 shorthanded goals and 45 blocks … Set a program record for playing in 178 career games … Had a +3 mark on the ice in a 4-1 win over Western Michigan (Nov. 12) … Was named NCHC Defenseman of the Week after scoring a shorthanded goal and adding an assist while producing a +3 mark on the ice in a road sweep over Colorado College (Nov. 18-19) … Recorded two assists in 7-2 Friday win and a goal in a 6-2 Saturday win over North Dakota (Dec. 2-3) … Had an assist and +2 mark on the ice in 4-0 win over Colorado College (Jan. 14) … Had a shorthanded goal and an assist in win over Minnesota Duluth (March 4).
2021-22: Played in 36 games in his fourth season on the ice for the Huskies, recording six points (one goal / five assists) … His lone goal on the season was a power play goal … Finished the season with a +3 mark on the ice with 37 shots on goal and 26 blocks … Opened the season with a goal and a +3 mark on the ice against St. Thomas (Oct. 2) … Recorded an assist and a +2 mark against Miami (Jan. 21) … Had an assist in 5-5 tie against Western Michigan (Feb. 11) … Had an assist and three blocks on senior night against Colorado College (Feb. 26) … Recorded assists in back-to-back games to close the season against Minnesota Duluth (March 12) and Quinnipiac (March 25).
2020-21: Bushy appeared in 31 games for the Huskies in 2020-21 as a defenseman. He scored the first goal of his collegiate career in a 4-2 win over Miami on February 13 and finished the season with one goal, eight assits and nine points. As a defenseman, he netted 36 blocks shots and finished the season with a +/- of +5.
2019-20: Played in 32 games for SCSU as a sophomore...netted 27 blocked shots and was +1 on the plus/minus...had 26 shots on goal.
2018-19: Played in 38 games as a freshman...posted six assists, 17 blocked shots and 27 shots on goal...scored first collegiate point with an assist vs. UAF on Oct. 13, 2018...added first point at home against Denver with an assist on Nov. 9, 2018.
Before SCSU: A 2017 graduate of Lincoln H.S., where he played for coaches Tim Bergland and Scott Bergland...earned All-Section 8 honors in 2015 and 2016...USA National Camp attendee in 2014 and 2015...state All-Tournament team in 2016...helped his high school team place third at MSHSL finals in 2016...lettered in golf and was a section qualifier in 2015-17...11 goals and 44 assists during prep career at TRF...played junior hockey in the USHL with the Dubuque Fighting Saints from 2016-18...scored six goals and 26 assists during his junior career.
