2020-21: Fitzgerald garnered a multitude of awards during the 2020-21 season, as he was named the NCHC Sportsmanship Award recipient and was a finalist for both Senior CLASS Award and the Hockey Humanitarian Award. Voted an alternate captain, Fitzgerald appeared in all 31 games for the Huskies and finished the year with nine goals and nine assists for 18 points while appearing in all 31 games. Fitzgerald additionally earned Academic All-NCHC recognition during the 2020-21 season.
2019-20: Academic All-NCHC selection in 2019-20...played in 31 games in 2019-20...scored five goals, seven assists and 12 points as a junior...had two game winning goals and 53 shots on goal...had two goals and one assist for three points and the GWG) in a win over Denver on Feb. 28, 2020...scored 1g/1a and the GWG in win at Miami on Dec. 7, 2019.
