2020-21: Hentges put together another strong season for St. Cloud State, appearing in 29 games as a member of the second and third lines. He tallied 17 total points, with eight goals and nine assists with 76 total shots on goal. Hentges scored his first goal of the season in a 4-3 win over Denver in the NCHC pod and tallied a two-goal game in a comeback win over Colorado College later that month. He was also an All-NCHC Academic Team selection.
2019-20: 2020 All-NCHC Academic Team...named the NCHC Player of the Month for Oct. 2019...scored seven goals, 17 assists, 24 points, two PPGs, one game winner and one game tying goal in 2019-20...tallied 56 shots on net and 10 blocks...had five multi-point games in 2019-20...had 1g/2a vs. Princeton on Nov. 1, 2019 and 1g/2a vs. Northern Michigan on Nov. 9, 2019...had 1g/1a and the GWG vs. Northeastern on Oct. 26, 2019...scored 1g/1a and the GTG vs. Bemidji State on Oct. 11, 2019.
