2011-12: Competed in the 100 & 200 breast, the 200 IM and the 50 back in his freshman season with the Huskies…swam legs in the 200 and 400 medley relay.
HIGH SCHOOL: An All-Northern Conference swimmer in 2009 and 2010 and four-year letterwinner, Tulenko swam the 200 breast in 2:11.5, the 100 breast in 1:01.4, the 200 IM in 2:00.6 and the 100 free in :50.56 during his stint with the Longmont High School Trojans in Colorado. A member of the National Honor Society and Math, Engineering, Science Achievement Club Member, Tulenko graduated in the top 10% of his senior class and was a four-time academic letterwinner.
PERSONAL: Joe Tulenko (Longmont, Colo.), the son of Daniel and Julie Tulenko… Marie Huff was his coach in high school and he plans to major in biology at SCSU.
