Rebecca Weiland is in her first season as the graduate assistant for the St. Cloud State swimming and diving program in 2015-2016. Weiland came to St. Cloud after graduating from the University of Minnesota in 2015, with a major in Sports Management and a certificate in coaching.
Weiland was a four year member of the Gopher swimming program. At the University of Minnesota, she earned thirteen NCAA Division I All-American honors, four time NCAA National Division I qualifier, helped the team win four Big Ten Conference Championships in a row, broke two Big Ten conference records (100 butterfly & 200 freestyle relay), qualified for the 2012 and 2016 United State Olympic Trials, earned three spots on the First and Second All-Big Ten Teams, three time Big Ten Distinguished Scholar, multiple time Academic All-American, and currently holds nine school records.

Weiland is originally from Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin, where she graduated from Lincoln High school. Her parents are John and Linda Weiland, and she has a younger sister name Racheal.
