2011-12: Participated in seven events during his freshman season with the Huskies…top times of the season included 4:25.18 in the 400 free, 4:51.63 in the 500 free, 9:12.64 in the 800 free, 10:21.93 in the 1000 free, 17:38.95 in the 1650, 2:11.08 in the 200 IM and 4:21.26 in the 400 IM…posted the second best time in the 800 free and fourth best time in the 400 free.
HIGH SCHOOL: 2011 graduate of Lawrence Free State High School…coached by Zach Devine and Annette McDonald…lettered twice for the Firebirds…lists getting his first section times in 1000 free and 1650 free as his greatest sports thrills…posted top prep times in the following events; 500 free (4:53.04), 1000 free (9:57.62), 400 IM (4:23.53), 200 free (1:50.04) and 200 IM (2:03.87)…says his father has had the greatest influence on his career.
PERSONAL: Native of Lawrence, Kansas…son of Daniel and Megan Fisher…member of National Honor Society…graduated top 15% of his class…enjoys playing dodgeball, Ultimate Frisbee, bison ranching, auto maintenance and carpentry in his free time…plans to major in mechanical engineering at St. Cloud State.
