2021-22: Wortz capped off a stellar career in style, earning WBCA All-America Honorable Mention, D2CCA Second Team All-Region and First Team All-NSIC honors during the year. As a fifth year senior, Wortz led the Huskies to one of their best seasons in program history by averaging 14.4 points, 4.2 rebounds and 2.3 assist in her final season with St. Cloud State. These numbers helped Wortz move to seventh all-time in career scoring and break the school record for career three pointers made. While her overall numbers are impressive, Wortz was even better in conference play, averaging 15.1 points thanks to her .415 shooting percentage. Wortz scored a team-leading 318 points in 21 NSIC games this season and added 85 rebounds, 56 assists, seven blocks and 27 steals to her statline. She became the first player in program history named to four All-NSIC teams and four Academic All-Conference teams. She was additionally named the NSIC Outstanding Senior of the Year at the conclusion of the regular season.
2020-21: Wortz received a multitude of accolades at the conclusion of the 2020-21 season, as she was named First Team All-Conference and became the first Husky to earn All-America honors since 2007. Additionally, Wortz was named to the NSIC / Sanford Health All- Tournament Team for the second consecutive year after leading St. Cloud State to the conference tournament championship game. Wortz consistently led the Huskies in scoring throughout 2020-21, as she closed the regular season averaging a career-high 14.7 points per game, scoring 206 points in 14 games. She was even better in conference play, as she averaged a team0leading 14.8 points per game while shooting an impressive .397 clip from three-point range. She ranked top-10 in the NSIC in several statistical categories at the end of the regular season, including scoring (8), three-pointers per game (4), and steals (7). She additionally ranked top-15 in total points, field goal percentage,three-point shooting percentage and minutes played at the conclusion of the regular season. After the postseason, Wortz led the team in scoring (15.3), having scored 275 points in 18 games, with 74 rebounds, fifty assists, 11 blocks and 30 steals.
2019-20: Wortz once again impressed in her junior season with St. Cloud State, earning Second Team All-NSIC, Second Team Academic All-District honors from CoSIDA and a NSIC/Sanford Health All-Tournament Team nod at the conclusion of 2019-20. As a junior, Wortz appeared and started all 30 games for the Huskies, leading them to their first NSIC/Sanford Health Tournament title since the 2008-09 season. In 30 games, Wortz scored 396 total points to average 13.2 a game while tallying 144 rebounds, 92 assists, seven blocks and 41 steals. In NSIC play, she shot a team-leading .413 from the floor and led St. Cloud State in points per game (13.5) and steals (36) against conference opponents. Additionally, Wortz became the 32nd player to score 1000 career points in program history, eclipsing the mark in the team's playoff win over #24 Sioux Falls on March 1.
2018-19: Wortz put together another outstanding season as a sophomore in 2018-19. In her second season with the Huskies, she appeared and started all 29 games and earned Second Team All-Conference and Academic All-Conference honors from the NSIC. At the end of the regular season, Wortz led the team in three point shooting, as she shot just over .400 from beyond the arc during the regular season and concluded the postseason with a .388 clip from three-point range. Wortz finished second on the team in scoring, as she scored 347 points for an impressive average of 12.0 points per game. She was even better, though, against NSIC opponents. Against conference foes, Wortz averaged an impressive 13.0 points per game, as she scored 285 points shooting .417 from the floor and .422 from beyond the arc in NSIC play. Wortz also made a little history during the season, as she became just the third player in program history to score 40+ points in a single-game, as scored a career-hgih 40 in a win over Bemidji State in early January. That performance ranks third all-time in single-game scoring and points scored in a single game.
2017-18: Named to the All-NSIC Freshman team after appearing in all 27 games and recording 21 starts in her first season for SCSU... Averaged 10.1 points per game for the second most on the team and charted a team-high of 35 steals... Wortz averaged 26.4 minutes per game... shot 41.9 percent from the field and 33 percent from beyond the arc... Totaled 95 rebounds and averaged 3.5 per game for the sixth most on the team.
Prior to SCSU: Played basketball at Hutchinson High School… for Timothy Ellefon...helped her team earn a berth in the state tournament and the Section 6AAA Championship during the 2015-16 school year...she was named All-State and All-Conference as a junior after averaging 17.5 points per game, four rebounds and three steals a contest…reached 1,000 career points prior to the start of her senior season…Honorable Mention All-Conference as both a freshman and a sophomore…also lettered in the sports of volleyball (2x) and softball (3x) …has been awarded an Academic Letter in each of her four years was a Junior Marshall ( in top five percent of her class)…also active in band, choir and her church youth group...played club basketball for the Minnesota Fury for four years.
