HIGH SCHOOL: Mary Kate Dougherty is an outside/rightside hitter from Catholic Memorial High School (Wis.). She is a three-year varsity letterwinner in volleyball. In the 2012 season, Dougherty earned 1st Team All Conference Honors (Classic 8 Conference). She finished the season with 239 kills, 194 digs, 13 blocks, 54 service aces and 2.3 kills per set. Her team won the Division II Wisconsin State volleyball championship in both 2010 and 2011.
PERSONAL: Mary Kate is the daughter of Philip and Teri Dougherty of Waukesha, Wis. She plans to pursue Nursing as her major at SCSU.
