The McGowan File: A 2017 Hampshire High School grad and Gilberts, Ill. native, McGowan, enjoyed a strong junior campaign as he qualified for the Illinois National Team in Greco Roman and Freestyle wrestling. In the past two years, he went 11-4 in both styles in Fargo, ND. In 2015, he placed sixth at the Midwest Folkstyle National Championships. He has a career mark of 74-34 and is an exceptional student looking to study Bio-Medical Sciences. He is the son of Robert and Denise McGowan.
