
Swimming and Divings Falls to SDSU in Team Dual

Brookings, S.D. -- The St. Cloud State men's and women's swimming and diving teams traveled to Brookings, S.D. to compete against Division I opponent South Dakota State University this afternoon. The Husky men's squad was defeated by the Jackrabbits with a final team score of 117-171. The St. Cloud State women fell to SDSU 123-177.
Freshman Erin Hart (Jamestown, N.D.) and sophomore Kellyn Craig (Denver, Col.) both had standout performances for the Husky women this evening, each taking home three first place finishes.
Hart was part of the winning 400 yard medley relay alongside Stephanie Crandall, Kellyn Craig, and Ali Domeier. The Huskies won the relay with a final time of 4:01.72. Hart also took first in the 100 yard backtroke in 1:01.58 and the 200 yard backstroke in 2:13.92.
Craig was a member of the winning 400 yard medley relay. She also took first place in the 100 yard breakstroke in 1:01.46 and in the 200 yard breakstroke in 2:26.78.
On the men's side, the 400 yard freestyle relay squad made up of Jake Hausauer, Joe Burns, Jake Larson and Jake Stoll finished in first place with a time of 3:09.74.
Diver Luke Weber (Mankato) won the one-meter dive with a score of 329.33. Chris White (Rochester) took the three-meter dive title with a score of 358.88.

The Huskies will return to action Feb. 1 and 2 as they take part in the St. Thomas Invitational in St. Paul, Minn.
