Stevens Point, Wis. -- The St. Cloud State University swimming and diving teams traveled to Stevens Point and Eau Claire, Wis. to compete in a tri-dual this afternoon. The Husky men's and women's teams both swept their competition in team scores .

Head Coach Jeff Hegle recapped the weekend stating, "I am very pleased with the swimming and diving performances. We had a very difficult week of practice and for the student athletes to perform the way they did is very encouraging. I am very proud of their performances."
The Husky women won 10 of the 16 events. Erin Hart won both the 100 and 200 backstroke, while Meghan Carmichael grabbed first place finishes in both the 100 and 200 butterfly.
In women's diving, Tori Raihle qualified for Nationals on both the one meter and three meter boards. Raihle had previously qualified on the one meter last weekend at Northern Michigan. Mary Woodson qualified on the one meter board this weekend as well.
The St. Cloud State men won 15 of the 16 events.
Alex Bryson won the 500, 1000, and 2000 free. Bryson set a new pool record in the 1000 free with a time of 9:39.77.
Jake Stoll had first place finishes in both the 50 and 100 free.
In men's diving, Tyler Magalis won the one meter with a score of 378.50. This score qualified Magalis for nationals and marks a new school record. Aaron Rooney posted a national qualifying score on the three meter dive, winning with a score of 328.05.
