Women's Golf Places 8th At Upper Iowa Invite, Men's Team in 2nd After First Day

Men's First Federal Bank Invite to conclude Tuesday
The St. Cloud State University women's golf team placed eighth at the Upper Iowa Invite played Sunday and Monday at Rathbun Lake Golf Course in Moravia, Iowa. The women posted a team score of 676 which included a season low first day score of 330.
Filling out the team score were Katie Kruchten at 76-81, Brooke Taylor finished 83-88, Alex DeBoer 90-86, Shelby Sauer 85-92 and Taylor Chase 86-91. Ashlee Lundeen competed individually and carded an 80-84.
The St. Cloud State men's team finished the first day of the First Federal Bank Invitational hosted by Henderson State University and played at Branson Creek Golf Club in Branson, Mo., in second place with a team score of 293.
Nine teams are competing in the event. Tyler Koivisto shot a first round score of even par 71 and tied for third among the individual players.
Devin Holmes is tied for fifth with a round of 72 and Charlie West finished tied for tenth with a 74. Chase Hahne is tied for 24 after shooting a 76 and Gordy Diekman shot an 81 and is tied for 43rd.
