Husky Volleyball Falls to Minnesota State, 0-3

Mankato, Minn. -- The St. Cloud State University volleyball team traveled to Mankato, Minn. to take on the Mavericks of Minnesota State this evening in NSIC competition. The Huskies fell 0-3 with set scores of 21-25, 15-25 and 22-25.
St. Cloud State falls to 8-4 overall, 2-2 in the NSIC. Minnesota State improves to 7-4 overall this season and 3-1 in conference action.
Ellie Dietzen (Black Creek, Wis.) and Kaitlin Doughty (Tomahawk, Wis.) led he Huskies with six kills a piece.
Brianne Stamer (Hutchinson) posted a team-high 13 digs. Erin Ohlemann (Golden Valley) added 21assists.
Chandra Honebrink led the Mavericks with 18 kills and a .471 attack percentage.
The Huskies will return to action tomorrow as they travel to St. Paul, Minn. to take on No. 2 ranked Concordia, St. Paul. The match it scheduled to begin at 4 p.m.
