Huskies swimming and diving sweeps South Dakota

St. Cloud, Minn. -- The St. Cloud State men's and women's swimming and diving teams rolled to dual victories over the University of South Dakota Friday evening at Halenbeck Pool. The women's team won eight events and posted a 161.5 - 138.5 win over the Coyotes while the men won 13 events in an 189-108 win.

Freshman Justin Winnett led the men's squad with individual victories. He won the 100 breast in 58.56, the 200 breast in 2:10.01 and the 200 individual medley in 1:59.16.
Seniors Alex Bryson and Tyler Magalis won a pair of events on the men's side. Bryson won the 1000 free in 9:56.54 and the 200 free in 1:44.39. Magalis swept the diving events winning the one-meter board with a mark of 320.75 and the three meter with a score of 339.25.
Sophomore Emily Tiedeman won two events for the women. She swam to victories in the 100 back in 59.92 and the 200 back in 2:10.78.
Senior Kellyn Craig also won two events. She had the top time in the 200 breast, 2:23.96 and the 200 individual medley, 2:12.84

Abby Rasmussen won the 100 breast in 1:06.11.
Kelsey Leeson swam the 50 free in 25.30 for the win
The women won both the 200 medley relay and 200 free relay
Jack Spaeth won the 100 back in 52.98.
Jake Stoll swam to victory in the 50 free in 21.55
Chris Tung won the 100 free in 47.25
