NCAA Championships conclude for Huskies swimming and diving, track and field

Saturday marked the conclusion of NCAA Division II National Championships in men's and women's swimming and diving and women's indoor track and field.
Swimming and Diving
The St. Cloud State men's team of three divers and one swimmer placed 15th in the team standings with 90 points. The women's team compiled 38 points for a 24th place finish.
Senior Alex Bryson (Appleton, Wis.) swam in the finals of the men's 1650 free and placed 12th in the event in a time of 15:42.97.
In preliminary swims earlier in the day, Kelsey Leeson placed 42nd and Andrea Bryson 50th in the 100 free. Leeson finished in a time of 52.46 and Bryson swam it in 52.90.
Emily Tiedemann placed 24th in the prelim of the 200 backstroke in a time of 2:05.46.
The 400 free relay of Abby Rasmussen, Leeson, Bryson and Tiedemann placed 18th in the prelims in a time of 3:36.55.
Indoor Track and Field
Sophomore Patience Yalartai placed 18th in the triple jump with a mark of 38-3.25 to bring the Huskies indoor season to a close.
