SCSU Volleyball Falls to Michigan Tech and Upper Iowa

Fayette, Iowa – The St. Cloud State volleyball team competed against Michigan Tech and Upper Iowa University at the Peacock Open today. The Huskies fell to Michigan Tech in four with scores 25-18, 16-25, 11-25, and 21-25. St. Cloud State dropped their final match against Upper Iowa with scores of 25-27, 25-20, 25-22, 20-25, and 7-15.
St. Cloud State falls to 4-4 overall.
SCSU vs. Michigan Tech:
Rachel Burke (Madison, Wis.) tallied 14 kills and 12 digs.
Sophie Jaskulske (Maplewood, Minn.) added nine kills and hit .259%.
Allison Butler (Burnsville, Minn.) led the Huskies with 31 assists.
Brianne Stamer (Hutchinson, Minn.) led all players with 26 digs
SCSU vs. Upper Iowa:
Rachel Burke (Madison, Wis.) led the Huskies with 18 kills and 20 digs.
Allison Butler (Burnsville, Minn.) tallied 33 assists.
Brianne Stamer (Hutchinson, Minn.) finished with 28 digs.
Jennifer Mundt led all players for Upper Iowa with 28 kills.
The Huskies will host Bemidji State on Thursday, Sept. 17 at 7 p.m. in Halenbeck Hall.
