St. Cloud State takes the road this weekend to challenge the first and second ranked opponents in the NSIC North.

SCSU's Week in Review
- The Huskies were 3-0 in NSIC play    last week. On Tuesday, Andrea Thomas scored a career high of 25 points in SCSU's 71-65 victory.Â
- On Friday, Brianna Johnson recorded a double-double (14 points, 10 rebounds) to accompany Thomas' 16 points in the Huskies' 60-53 win over U-Mary.Â
- SCSU's senior presence showed strong on Saturday in the Huskies' 70-61 win over Minot State. Amanda Christianson and Thomas combined for 28 of St. Cloud State's 70 points.
- Andrea Thomas was named the NSIC North Player of the Week after averaging 19.7 points, 4.3 rebounds and three assists over three games last week.Â
- Thomas is the first SCSU women's basketball player to be named NSIC North Player of the Week since Chelsea Nooker took home the honors on Jan. 16 of last season.

- Looking to defend their five game winning streak, the Huskies are hitting the road to face off against the Minnesota State Moorhead Dragons (21-3, 18-2 NSIC) on Friday, Feb. 16 at 6 PM and the Northern State Wolves on Saturday, Feb. 17 at 4 PM.
Preview: MSU Moorhead vs. St. Cloud State
- Four of the Dragons' starters are averaging more than ten points per game.
- Jacky Volkert (14.3 points per game, 5.4 assists per game) is the 6th highest scorer on average, per game in the NSIC while she ranks second in the conference in assists per game.
- Drew Sannes (13.9 points per game) is shooting 39.3 percent from three-point range and is the averages the 9th most points per game in the NSIC.Â
- Megan Hintz (11.8 points per game) is shooting 58.1 percent from the field.
- Cassidy Thorson is averaging 10.5 points per game while shooting 33.0 percent from three-point range (2nd in NSIC).
- Thorson is also averaging 2.6 three-pointers made per game, which is the most in the NSIC this season.Â
- The Dragons are currently on a 15 game winning streak. Their last loss came against Northern State by a score of 69-65.

- Since 1972, the Huskies are 32-24 all-time against the Dragons.
- This season, Moorhead snapped the Huskies' six game winning streak, which included an upset win over nationally-ranked, Northern State.Â
- In the contest, the Huskies fell by a score of 54-78 with Cassidy Thorson scoring 15 points and shooting 5-11 from three-point range.Â

- The Huskies upset the Wolves, 61-57 in January when they were ranked #22Â nationally.
