SCSU'S WEEK IN REVIEW

The Huskies were swept in their regular season finale on the road at MSU Moorhead on Friday night (54-70) and Northern State on Saturday night (55-71).
St. Cloud State's five-game winning streak was snapped on Friday night.
SCSU shot 37.6 percent from the field, 13-40 from three-point range and 77.8 percent from the free-throw line last weekend.
MSU Moorhead and Northern State each earned a share of the NSIC regular season title, along with Augustana.
Northern State earned the #1 seed in the North division going into the NSIC Tournament.
MSU Moorhead extended their winning streak to 16 on Friday night.
Northern State extended their winning streak to 10 on Saturday night.

SCOUTING CONCORDIA ST. PAUL (11-17, 8-14 NSIC)

Concordia St. Paul swept Sioux Falls and Southwest Minnesota State last weekend to close out the regular season.
The Golden Bears are on a four-game winning streak entering the first round of playoffs.
CSP is 3-8 on the road this season.
Anna Schmitt is leading the Golden Bears in scoring, averging 19.2 points per game (2nd in NSIC) while shooting 45.6 percent from the field.
Schmitt is tied for first in the NSIC with a 89.3 free-throw percentage
Schmitt is also averaging two made three-pointers per game (4th in NSIC).
Lindsay Dorr is averaging 10.9 points per game and is 9th in the NSIC for rebounds per game (7.4).
Dorr has blocked the ninth most shots (35) in the NSIC this year as well.
Hanna Vidlund is averaging 5.4 points per game.
As a team, the Golden Bears are shooting 38.6 percent from the field, 30.4 percent from the three-point line and 70.8 percent from the free-throw line.
CSP is averaging 34.7 rebounds per game.
The Golden Bears' 14.9 turnovers per game is the 4th most in the NSIC this year.

SERIES HISTORY: CSP VS. ST. CLOUD STATE

Since 1977, St. Cloud State is 17-15 against CSP.
The Huskies defeated CSP earlier this February by a score of 62-49.
Senior point guard, Andrea Thomas paced the Huskies' offensive efforts by posting 17 points and five rebounds.
Tori Wortz also contributed 12 points, with eight of them coming in the fourth quarter.
Brianna Johnson was one rebound and one point away from recording a double-double.
The key to the Huskies' ability to capitalize on 17 points from the Golden Bears' 21 team turnovers.
Prior to this season's victory, the Huskies had not beaten the Golden Bears since the 2015-16 season.

NSIC PLAYOFFS HISTORY

Last year, SCSU was eliminated in the first round of the NSIC Tournament by the USF Cougars.
SCSU has been eliminated in the first round five of the last seven years.
In those seven years, the Huskeis have hosted an opponent in the first round five times.
SCSU and CSP have met in the NSIC playoffs three times in the last seven years.
CSP owns a 3-0 lead in those contests.
In the 2015-16 season, SCSU was eliminated by CSP in the first round of the NSIC playoffs after defeating them at home earlier in the regular season.
The last time the Huskies won a first-round game was in the 2014-15 season when SCSU defeated the USF Cougars in Halenbeck Hall.

LAST TIME OUT

St. Cloud State finished third in the NSIC North.
Concordia St. Paul finished sixth in the NSIC South.
The winner of this first round game will travel to the Sanford Pentagon in Sioux Falls, SD to face the winner of Wayne State vs. Minn. Crookston at 2:30.
SCSU is 11-2 in Halenbeck Hall this year.
