Looking to improve on an already impressive 6-1 mark at Halenbeck Hall, the Huskies return home after dropping a pair of road contests to Concordia-St. Paul and Minnesota State Mankato last weekend. Notable performers for the Huskies were Nikki Kilboten, Katrina Theis and Mallie Doucette. Kilbotten posted an 18 point, eight rebound effort in Saturday's loss to Mankato while Theis was rebound shy of her second double-double of the season after charting 11 points on Friday vs. CSP. Doucette posted 13 points off of the bench on Friday, then added nine more on Saturday. SCSU is 4th in the NSIC North entering this weekend's games, while sitting in the number eight spot in the overall NSIC rankings. NSU ranks sixth in the North while Moorhead is undefeated in conference play. The Dragons own the number one rank in the overall standings after being predicted to finish second to USF in the NSIC Coaches' preseason poll.Â

Brianna Kusler and Lexi Wadsworth each lead the Wolves' scoring efforts, averaging at least ten points a game each while Kusler is averaging a conference high of 10.9 rebounds per game. As a team, NSU is only scoring 59.5 points per game on average, but is holding opponents to an average of 58.4 points per game. Of note, SCSU is allowing 58.3 PPG.

The number one team in the NSIC is led by the trio of Kiley Borowicz, Megan Hintz and Jacky Volkert who are all among the top 25 in the conference for scoring. Hintz is averaging 10.1 rebounds per game while Borowicz has recorded 30 steals for a sixth most in the conference. Volkert is leading the NSIC with 2.7 assists per game. As a team, MSUM is holding opponents to 54.6 PPG.Â
