Friis scores fourth goal of the season in 68th minute
MOORHEAD, Minn. – St. Cloud State Women's Soccer (5-7-3, 5-5-3 NSIC) played Minnesota State Moorhead (1-15-1, 1-12-1 NSIC) to a 1-1 tie on Sunday afternoon at Nemzek Soccer Field in Moorhead, Minn. The Huskies outshot the Dragons, 29-6, but were only able to find the back of the net once in the game.
TURNING POINT
The Dragons were able to score the equalizer in the game's 80th minute, as Allison Tharp scored to make the score 1-1 with less than 10 minutes remaining in the game. Neither team scored in regulation or either of the two 10-minute overtime periods, resulting in the 1-1 tie.
