Three Huskies begin competition at 2021 IIHF Women's World Championship

Three St. Cloud State women's hockey representatives are beginning play at the 2021 IIHF Women's World Championship as the group stage compeition begins this weekend. Klara Hymlarova and the Czech Republic begin the Women's Worlds at 1:00 p.m. CST against Denmark on Friday, then Jenniina Nylund makes her Senior National Team debut with Finland later that evening at 5:00 p.m. CST. Laura Kluge and Germany open Saturday's action at 1:00 p.m. CST as they take on Hungary.
The Quarterfinals will begin on Saturday, August 28 with the Bronze and Gold Medal Games held on Tuesday, August 31. Fans can follow the Huskies' representatives on the NHL Network and ESPN+. The full schedule of competition can be found HERE.
