The Huskies win multiple individual events this weekend

Rochester, Minn. – The St. Cloud State Swim & Dive teams were back in action on Saturday as the Huskies traveled to Rochester, Minn to compete against Mankato, Truman State and UW-La Crosse. The men's team overtook Truman State and UW-La Crosse, as then men scored 1107 points. While the women's team placed second only falling to Mankato, earning a score of 680 points.

TEAM SCORES

For the men, St. Cloud scored 1106 points, followed by Truman State (563) and UW- La Crosse (411)

For the women, Mankato finished first with 691.5 points, followed by the Huskies (680), Truman State (464.5), and UW- La Crosse (312).

TOP HUSKIES

Senior Jayden Porter earned wins in both the 100-yard breaststroke with a time of 57.69 and the 200-yard breastroke with a time of 2:08.09
Junior Raf Hendriks picked up wins in the 200 yard- backstroke (1:47.32) and the 100-yard butterfly (51.10)
The men's 200-yard freestyle relay team of Hendriks, Townley, Junior Didac Silva Alcoba, and senior Tjeerd Van Stein picked up the win with a time of 1:23.12. This time brings their relay into the top 10 rankings in the country
Freshman Elizabeth Ford got the win in the 50-yard freestyle with a time of 24.55

Next, the Huskies will travel to Northfield, Minn. on Oct. 29, to compete at the Cows, Colleges, & Contentment Classic to compete against St. Olaf, Carleton, and UW-La Crosse.
