St. Cloud State Men's Basketball Drops 86-68 to Minnesota State

ST. CLOUD, Minn. – The St. Cloud State men's basketball team dropped their first game in Halenbeck Hall to Minnesota State 86-68 in a non-conference match up. Tommy Chatman and Tony Dahl lead the Huskies in scoring each putting up 19 points.
GAME SUMMARY
St. Cloud State trailed by a single point going into the locker room at half with a score of 40-39. Minnesota State may have held the lead the majority of the half, but the Huskies were never far behind as seven points was the largest deficit St. Cloud faced. Tommy Chatman knocked down 15 of the 39 points scored in the half.
During the second half, St. Cloud had a difficult time scoring as the offense only put up 29 points. On top of the low scoring, the Huskies found themselves in foul trouble. Kevin Cook and Tony Dahl reached the five foul limit and had the leave the game. In the end, St. Cloud could not keep up with the Mavericks as they fell 86-68. Tommy Chatman and Tony Dahl closed the game each scoring 19 points.
