The Huskies set six school records and claim multiple wins

Rochester, Minn. – The St. Cloud State Swim & Dive team set multiple school records and won several events at the Rochester Invite. The Huskies hosted a 10-team, three-day meet at the Rochester-Olmstead County Recreation Center Natatorium. The SCSU women's team finished second, only falling to Nebraska Omaha, scoring 1625.5 points. While the men's team won the meet, scoring 1955.5 points.

TEAM SCORES
For the men, St. Cloud State scored 1955.5, followed by Nebraska Omaha (1805), St. Thomas (1281.5), UW-Eau Claire (1248.5), St. John's (1055.5), and UW-La Crosse (854.5)

For the women, Omaha finished first with 2018 points, followed by the Huskies (1625.5), St. Thomas (1411), UW-La Crosse (1129.5), UW-Eau Claire (1058.5), and St. Olaf (669).

TOP HUSKIES

Junior Raf Hendriks broke the 100-yard backstroke record on Saturday leading off the 400-yard medley relay. He lowered his own record with a time of 47.67.
Sophomore Meredith Bangs broke the 200-yard IM record on Friday, recording a time of 2:05.95 at finals. She surpassed Kellyn Craig, who produced a time of 2:06.15.
The men's 200-yard medley relay of Hendriks, senior Jayden Porter, junior, Emile Dost, and senior Abe Townley set the school record posting a time of 1:27.35. The team beat their own school record from last season
The men's 200-yard freestyle relay of Townley, Hendriks, Dost, and freshman Mason Beck earned the school record posting a time of 1:19.48. This time ranks them 4^th in the country.
The men's 400-yard medley relay of Hendriks, Porter, Dost, and Beck earned the school record posting a time of 3:14.99, surpassing the previous school record by almost 4 seconds.
The men's 400-yard freestyle relay of Hendriks, Dost, Beck, and Townley earned the school record posting a time of 2:58.28.
