
St. Cloud Swimming & Diving Impress against Northern Michigan and Davenport

The Huskies took on Northern Michigan and Davenport, with the Women’s Team earning their first win of the season
ST. CLOUD, MINN. – The St. Cloud State Swim & Dive had an impressive showing over the weekend in Marquette, competing against Northern Michigan and Davenport on Friday and Saturday. The Men's team swept Davenport, winning both days. They also picked up a win against Northern Michigan on Friday but fell to the Wildcats on Saturday. The Women's team fell to the Wildcats both Friday and Saturday but were able to pick up a win against Davenport at the Saturday session of the meet.

On Friday, the Men's team found themselves winning against both teams. Winning 186-55 against Davenport and 122-121 against Northern Michigan. On Saturday, the men were able to get a win against Davenport 168-72 but fell to Northern Michigan 114-128. As for the Women, they fell to both Davenport and Northern Michigan on Friday. The team lost to Davenport 118-124 and to Northern Michigan 74-166. On Saturday, the team fell to the Wildcats again, 83-155, but were able to get a win over Davenport, 140-97.

Top Huskies
- Senior Raf Hendriks earned wins in all of his individual events. Winning the 200-yard freestyle on both days, with a time of 1:42.00 on Friday and a time of 1:42.63 on Saturday. He also won the 100-yard backstroke (50.01) and the 200-yard backstroke (1:48.34).
- Sophomore Ben Thompson earned a distance sweep on Friday, winning the 1000-yard freestyle (10:05.93) and the 500-yard freestyle (4:51.39).
- Freshman Jimmy Nord earned a win both Friday and Saturday in 1-Meter diving. He also earned NCAA qualifying scores in both 1-Meter and 3-Meter diving.
- Junior Kailey Fossell earned a win on Saturday in 1-Meter diving, with a score of 246.60
- Raf Hendriks, Jayden Porter, Max Matthaei, and Emile Dost won the 400-Medley Relay with a time of 3:24.64, this time earned them the Northern Michigan pool record.
