SCSU swept the regular season series against the Bulldogs (9-8, 2-7 NSIC) and led the match in points (56-34), kills (45-29), aces (4-1), blocks (7-4), assists (43-27) and digs (44-30).
TOP HUSKIES
QUOTABLE – St. Cloud State head coach Chad Braegelmann
"Another really solid team effort tonight for the Huskies, in a gymnasium where we have not had a lot of success over the years. Obviously, Kenzie [Foley] was very good offensively again, Hannah [Bruskiewicz] was fabulous out of the middle, attacking, but I really think our defense, blocking and serving were the key to our success tonight, as we put Duluth in a lot of very uncomfortable situations. When they did get chances to swing, we did a fantastic job of slowing them down. Emily [Kern] had some great digs for us that led to transition swings and Keely [Kurschner] was rock solid again as well."
