
St. Cloud State Swimming and Diving to Host Augustana

The Huskies will compete in their last regular season meet of the year against Augustana
ST. CLOUD, MINN. – The St. Cloud State Swimming & Diving team is back in action this weekend, as they host Augustana on Saturday, Jan. 24. Events are slated to begin at 1:00 p.m. CT.
The Huskies are coming off a very successful weekend. First, the Men's team picked up a win over South Dakota State on Friday, Jan. 17, beating the Jackrabbits 124-119. While in Brookings, the Huskies set 3 new pool records. Graduate Student, Raf Hendriks broke the 200-yard backstroke pool record and won the event with a time of 1:49.85. The 400-yard medley relay team of Hedriks, Marcus Walker, Cade Rosenwald, and Mason Beck set a new pool record with a time of 3:25.62. Finally, the relay team of Reid Tigges, Justin Rowles, Rosenwald, and Beck won the 200-freestyle relay with a pool-record time of 1:23.49. On Saturday, Jan. 18 the Men's and Women's team took on St. John's/St. Ben's. Both the men's and women's teams were able to get the victory. With the Men's team taking down the Johnnies, 180.5-115.5, and the Women's team beat the Bennies, 206-82.
The Huskies are looking to get the win over Augustana in their last regular season dual meet of the year, and take that success into the post season.
