QUOTABLE – St. Cloud State head coach Chad Braegelmann
I was very pleased with our serving and passing today – we've been working on that a lot lately, and we were in system a little bit more than Concordia tonight. After winning the second set to bring the match even at one set apiece, I thought we had a little bit of momentum, but they came out firing in the third set – they were absolutely fantastic offensively. In the first and third set combined, they had a total of 41 kills and only one hitting error – that's unheard of at any level. They were just great offensively in those two sets, and we just never really were able to recover and get some momentum. We did not do a great job of siding out, but I really want to tip our cap to Concordia who did a fantastic job defensively. It was a fun nonconference match, and we have four conference matches left and hope to finish the season strong.
