St. Cloud State Swimming & Diving Set for NCAA Championships

The Huskies will have nine athletes compete at the NCAA meet.
St. Cloud, Minn. – St. Cloud State Swimming and Diving will have nine athletes competing at the 2025 NCAA Swimming and Diving Championships this week in Indianapolis, IN. The meet will be held March 11-15 with prelims beginning at 9:00 a.m. CT, diving events at 12:00 p.m. CT, and finals at 5:00 p.m. CT.
For the men, five Huskies have qualified in individual events, led by Sophomore Lance Godard competing in four events. Godard will be competing in the 50-yard and 100-yard freestyle, as well as the 100-yard and 200-yard butterfly. Fifth-year Raf Hendriks has qualified in three individual events, qualifying in the 100-yard and 200-yard backstroke, along with the 200-yard freestyle. Sophomores Mason Beck and Reid Tigges both qualified individually in the 50-yard and 100-yard freestyle. Alongside the swimmers, Sophomore diver Jimmy Nord qualified in 1-meter and 3-meter diving.
The men are also brining Sophomore Marcus Walker to compete in relays. Hendriks, Walker, Godard, and Beck will compete in the 200-yard and 400-yard medley relays. In the 200-yard and 400-yard freestyle relays, Hendriks, Godard, Tigges, and Beck will compete for the Huskies.
For the women, Freshman Hallie Drossel is the only swimmer to qualify, competing in the 100-yard breaststroke. On the boards, Freshman Abriella Werner and Senior Karlie Woodall will compete for the Huskies. Both divers will be competing in both 1-meter and 3-meter.
