SCSU Men’s Swim & Dive Earns Highest-Ever Finish at NCAA Championships

Huskies earn 12 All-America finishes, set five school record in eighth-place finish
INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – St. Cloud State Swim & Dive capped off a highly impressive week at the 2025 NCAA Division-II Swim & Dive Championships with an eighth-place finish for the men, the highest finish in program history. The men's team finished with 159 points and had 12 All-America performances, eight in individual events and four in relays. Additionally, five new school records were set over the four-day meet.
Fifth-year senior Raf Hendriks (Berg en Terblijt, Netherlands) earned the highest finish of the meet for the Huskies, finishing with a runner-up finish in the 200-yard backstroke. The decorated Husky earned six All-America honors throughout the meet to bring his career total to 24.

DAY 1 HIGHLIGHTS (WEDNESDAY)
- Junior Mason Beck (Bismarck, N.D.) finished ninth in the 50-yard freestyle with a time of 19.49, earning All-American Honorable Mention honors.
- The Huskies relay squad of Hendriks, freshman Marcus Walker (Santa Clarita, Calif.), sophomore Lance Godard (Lee's Summitt, Mo.), and Beck, clocked a time of 1:26.33 to finish 10th, capturing the school record and All-American Honorable Mention honors.
- Freshman Abriella Werner (Soldotna, Alaska) finished 21st in Women's 1-meter diving with a score of 331.75.
- Godard set a new school record in the 100 butterfly with a time of 46.84 in the prelims and then finished seventh in finals (46.85) to earn First-Team All-American honors.
- Sophomore Jimmy Nord (Chisago City, Minn.) finished 12th in the 3-Meter Dive with a score of 490.60 to earn All-America Honorable Mention honors.
- The men's 400-yard medley relay team of Hendriks, Walker, Godard and Beck finished ninth to earn Second Team All-America honors and breaks the school record with a time of 3:11.1. Hendriks backstroke leg of 46.84 lowered his school record mark.
- Hendriks finished seventh to earn First Team All-America honors in the 100-yard backstroke with a time of 46.97.
- Godard finished ninth in the 200-yard butterfly with a time of 1:45.87 to earn All-America Honorable Mention honors.
- The men's 200-yard freestyle relay team of sophomore Reid Tigges (Spencer, Iowa), Beck, Hendriks and Godard finished fourth with a time of 1:18.40 to earn First Team All-American honors.
- Hendriks earned a runner-up finish 200-yard backstroke with a time of 1:42.16 to earn First-Team All-America honors.
- Beck sets a new school record in the 100-yard freestyle with a time of 43.57 in the prelims and then finished 13th in the finals (43.93) to earn All-America Honorable Mention honors.
- Nord recorded a score of 468.65 in the 1-Meter Dive to earn First-Team All-America honors.
- The men's 400-yard freestyle relay team of Tigges, Godard, Hendriks and Beck finished ninth to earn All-America Honorable Mention honors.
